If you’re looking for a retreat that’s away from the hustle and bustle from the city, Hacienda Montana Sonodara is for you. Ricardo and his family made our stay so prefect and customized for my birthday. We arrived at a very late/ early hour and our room was prepared with any accommodations previously communicated. The location of the grounds are located at the top of a hill so it is a bumpy ride up, however we Ubered throughout our trip and no one had an issue navigating the drive. Breakfast was delightful every morning. I expressed a dietary restriction and Ricardo made accommodations throughout the rest of our stay. On the Sunday of our stay, Ricardo bbq’d and surprised us with a Sunday Funday around golden hour and it was great. We had a smart tv adapter and plugged it into the lobby tv and all the guests gathered to watch football lol! The room itself was rather humble with a private bathroom and very charming decor. There was a mini fridge which was really useful throughout our stay. There was a smart tv in the room and the hvac unit worked perfectly to cool down the room (although it didn’t really get sweltering hot during it stay as we were in higher altitude). Me and my partner booked the trip rather spontaneously so we didn’t really plan activities but the Ricardo’s daughter composed a list of things to do within minutes detailing every aspect of the itinerary. That was so efficient, convenient and extremely kind for someone who visited PR for the first time ever. All in all, it was a great stay and me and my partner felt very comfortable and attended too throughout the duration of it. Thank you!
