My wife and I stayed here for four days for our anniversary. Upon arrival, we did the after hours check in, that was rather easy but a little concerning on how easy it was. No ID verification, license plate info, nothing to verify my age and reason for being there. Loved the layout in the 1 bedroom, queen studio though. We found thick layers of dust on various objects)telephone, shelves in kitchen and dresser), dirty cups in the cupboard, dirt in the silverware tray, and crumbs, coffee maker was disgusting, and pubes in the dresser drawers. This made us uneasy about how thorough the rest of the unit was cleaned. Honestly this made me want to cancel upon the first night and go to Super 8 down the street that seemed much cleaner. I opted instead for calling the front desk in the morning, these issues were resolved by house keeping to my liking. But for paying almost $125 a night I expect my room to be clean BEFORE entering and arriving for my stay.... The last concern we experienced was after coming home from spending all day at Silver Dollar City, our hotel door was wide open. I double checked to make sure the door was locked and secure when we left that morning, my wife witnessed this as well. Not sure who entered our room while we were out but nothing was missing from our room, just made us feel very uneasy about staying here. No one from the office followed up once complaints were issued, seems like a very "hands off" property. This stay was not worth the almost $600 I paid for staying here.
