First, this property is not representative of the pictures. The common areas are off limits as the owner and the inn keeper use it for their own use/day care. Others here have commented to the same. Unfortunately, this common area, as beautiful as it is, is not the unit(s) you are renting even though they are pictured in the listing. Further, most of the property and the amenities are on their "last leg" as the property is currently for sale and no improvements are being made. I imagine, at some point, this property was a "grand" experience, but that is no longer the case. We had several issues during our stay and tried to work with the owner and VRBO to rectify. Most of the responses were just to wait it out and hope for the best; not the type of remedy I like to support. We ended up checking out early and securing other nearby accommodations. In talking with other property owners nearby, this establishment and management have been a thorn in everyone's side for quite a long time. We are still working on getting a refund but the owner is being uncooperative. I would avoid this property until improvements can be made or ownership changes.
