We stayed 5 nights here after the first hotel down the street had visible mold on ceilings and walls, plus construction in the back outside the sliding glass doors. This one was twice the price, though. This is the cleanest hotel, with a constant presence of staff cleaning all around the hotel, the exception being the restaurant. There were often crumbs on the tables, and we needed to ask for silverware since they're removed the used ones but didn't replace. The charger plates were never removed, so their cleanliness was questionable. The food was very good, with breakfasts included in the price. I don't think they're used to how much coffee Americans drink, lol. The rooms were very comfortable, temperature-wise, but the seating was like outdoor furniture. Beds were okay, pillows not so great. I am giving 5 stars because of the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, who did everything they could to make our stay pleasant, and in comparison to what we saw in the first hotel. By American standards, it's probably more like a 3.5, but we had very little complaints while there. The pool area was awesome. Location is great too. I recommend this place, and would stay there again. There are some English speakers, but at times it's a challenge if you don't speak Spanish. Google translate helps.
