Where do I begin?! Firstly, I cannot recommend Château de Maulmont enough as a wedding venue, it is an utterly beautiful and totally magical location to celebrate your special day! All of our guests were blown away with how magnificent the Chateau is and how beautiful the gardens are. Maartje and Ian who own and manage the Chateau are fantastic! Particularly Maartje who was on hand throughout the whole planning process, whether it be to suggest contacts for various aspects of the wedding such as flowers, fireworks or hair and make up, or helping us with translating as we all spoke very limited French, which can be challenging when you're suppliers are all French! But throughout it all, Maartje supported us with planning and making sure we had everything in place for our special day, answering all of our questions and helping in any way she could. On the weekend of the wedding, again both Maartje and Ian were so welcoming, discussing the plan for the wedding day with us and making sure we had everything we needed for the big day. The Chateau was beautifully tidy and all bedrooms were immaculate ready for our guests. I am not exaggerating when I say it was without a doubt, the BEST weekend of our lives! From start to finish, it was amazing and by the end of the weekend, my face hurt from smiling! If I could afford to renew my vows every year, I would come back here again and again! Maartje and Ian, we cannot thank you enough for giving us our fairytale wedding, it was more than we could ever have hoped for!
