I have a relative who has lived there for a few years. My review is to address the situation with garbage and recycling. This picture sums up what it's like. The cans fill up quickly and they are only emptied once per week (mostly). Imagine if people were coming to visit you and this was the view as they enter. Something needs to be done. Most of the stuff in the recycle bin is not recyclable, and not collapsed or folded. The garbage is overflowing and the flies...OMG the flies. Someone is going to get sick if one of these flies gets into their home and unknowingly touches their food. This is just disgusting and completely unacceptable. And this is every week. Rent has increased close to $400 dollars in the last five years, but services are less. Rather than increase pick-up to twice a week, they let this continue. Part of the problem is the tenants, but complex this big should have the trash picked up twice per week. The people who work there don't live there, so they don't care. If you can afford the extra $, chose Tanglewood or Ridgedale, both are super clean. If my relative could afford to move they would. However, I think appropriately timed garbage pick up should not require an additional $400-$500/month in rent.
