I was really disappointed by the way some of the staff at the beachfront restaurant treated us. They told us we couldn’t order food while relaxing by the pool, which is something I’ve never encountered at any hotel around the world. Instead, they expected us to leave the pool area, go to the restaurant, place the order, and eat there — which completely defeats the purpose of a relaxing holiday. I’m here to enjoy my time, not to keep running back and forth just to get a meal. To make things worse, the attitude of the staff member who spoke to us was extremely unprofessional — she acted like we were asking for a loan, not just placing an order. Her tone was rude and dismissive, as if we were children bothering her. It really ruined the vibe. On the other hand, the reception staff and the rest of the team were kind and treated us with respect, which we really appreciated. Regardless of how fancy or simple a hotel is, what truly matters is the quality of service and the attitude of the staff. A guest’s experience can be made or ruined based on how they are treated — and helpful, friendly staff can make all the difference. Unfortunately, it only takes one staff member with a negative attitude to ruin the impression of the entire experience, no matter how kind and professional the others are. That single interaction can really overshadow all the positive moments.
