The cottages are very comfortable and clean with a nice view of the dam. The whole resort though is rather run-down with an air of past glory. Perfectly OK for an overnight or two night stop. The adjacent Willem Pretorius nature reserve is well worth a day visit (but very muddy if it's been raining) if you're keen to see the biodiversity of the area, including the birds #birding
