Paradise Lakes is a great venue overall for nudist and lifestyle folks to relax, socialize, and enjoy. The grounds are maintained and clean in the amenity area. The play rooms, though not extravagant, are very comfortable and maintained. The bar/grill offers a nice variety of food choices with friendly staff and of course the bar is stocked. Staying in their overnight accommodations comes with a few unadvertised and “unwanted to us” caveats that we didn’t realize until our first overnight visit. The rooms are a bit outdated and have a “frumpy” feeling to them, but they are functional…you can sleep and shower there. Though you are renting a room for the duration of your stay, your enjoyment of the room comes with several limitations. You may not bring unregistered guests to YOUR room. You may not bring your own alcohol to YOUR room. You may not bring self-defense weapons to YOUR room. The staff inspects your belongings EVERY TIME you return to YOUR room from outside the resort. We are accustomed to bringing guests back to OUR room, drinking OUR own booze in OUR room and keeping a firearm in the nightstand of OUR room and we’ve never once had a problem with this in other accommodations. After all, we did pay the full rate to rent the room so we expected to have full, unfettered use of OUR room. We’d recommend staying elsewhere and visiting the resort on a day pass as well as checking out the other clothing optional and lifestyle resorts nearby. Pasco County is the epicenter of nude recreation in the southeast USA if not the entire country…enjoy!
