The old Pulse hotel on 37th St is one of our favorites. It's close to subways, Times Square, Broadway, Bryant Park and numerous eating places. The 1st floor serves a good breakfast at a good price. For a better hot breakfast, take a right out of the hotel to go about 6 doors down on the right to try a local takeout place that does have some inside seating. Get an everything bagel with egg, cheese & bacon. Yum.
