We stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Villa del Arco and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, had in-suite laundry, and the beds and linens were very comfortable and high quality. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, which made it easy to prepare our own meals. We chose not to do the all-inclusive option due to the resort’s great location near excellent local food and we’re glad we didn’t, as the resort dining wasn’t anything special. Ubers were easy and convenient for getting around. The pool area was nice, but there’s a serious issue with guests reserving chairs early and leaving them empty for hours. The resort needs clearer signage and better enforcement to manage this, as it really limits access for others. The bell staff were consistently kind and helpful. Housekeeping, however, was inconsistent both in timing and friendliness. The highlight was definitely the spa. The thermal circuit is beautiful and absolutely worth doing. Treatments like massages and facials were a bit pricey, but still worth it for a treat.
