Gorgeous Stay with Amazing Staff & Beach! We had such a beautiful and relaxing stay at the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The villas themselves are spacious and well-designed—plenty of room for the whole family, with a large kitchen, washer and dryer, and even outdoor dining space to enjoy meals with an ocean breeze. The beach is absolutely stunning, and the snorkeling right off the shore was some of the best we’ve experienced—full of colorful fish and clear water. There are also fantastic amenities, including huge grills on-site if you want to bring your own food and have a cookout with a view. While we loved the resort overall, I do have to say we were disappointed with the food at Mauka Maki. The service was great, but the food just didn’t live up to expectations—everything we ordered was drenched in sauce, overpowering the actual flavors. Definitely not worth the price, unfortunately. That said, I have to give a huge shoutout to Wes from the concierge team—Wes the best! He’s born and raised here, and it shows. He spent nearly an hour with us, patiently answering all our questions and sharing thoughtful recommendations. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind—he’s an absolute gem, and the Westin is lucky to have him! All in all, we’d definitely stay here again. The beach, the comfort, the location, and the amazing staff (especially Wes!) made it a trip to remember.
