I ran into some issues with booking, but that was the result of booking through a third party, which I NEVER do, but had a voucher that we needed to use. Even though it wasn’t their issue at all, Grand Palms was incredibly accommodating and offered to match the rates of the third party our next visit. That being said our trip was great, this is a wonderful property for families!! The splash pad and lazy river was such a hit with my kids. We got hit with some bad weather but were still able to enjoy the indoor pool. Our one bedroom villa was spacious, and every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful, especially the manager Anastasia. The location is great, there is a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market just a few minutes away for deliveries and groceries. The gas grills were also a great touch! But my favorite accommodation is a shuttle to/from the beach, every hour, with room in the back for all your beach junk, if you choose not to rent. Rentals are available through the resort as is a complimentary state park day passes if that’s your thing. The resort was booked and busy, but you could hardly tell! We will definitely be back!
