After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to stay here. However, I am now ashamed that I ever felt that way. We both loved this place. Clean, large rooms, large balcony facing the runway and ocean, large shower with amazing water pressure, beautifully landscaped pool area, friendly staff, handy kitchenette in room. And so convenient to airport, restaurants, grocery store, public transportation. We couldn't have asked for more. For the price we paid, I can totally overlook things being a little 'dated' (a term frequently used in the reviews). I've frequently stayed at a much more expensive hotel nearby and feel it did not provide as much as the Royal Islander La Terrasse. We both were very impressed and will definitely stay there again.
