We recently stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations – Maui Bay Villas and had a fantastic experience. My wife and I, along with our two kids, stayed in a spacious two-bedroom unit that was perfect for our family. We’ve stayed at several Hilton properties across Hawaii, and this one is by far the newest and nicest. While the property is still undergoing some construction, the interruptions were practically nonexistent and didn’t affect our stay at all. In fact, the smaller scale of the resort made it feel peaceful and relaxing—just what we were looking for. The private beach club was a highlight, with a beautiful beachside pool and easy access to the sand. We didn’t really sample much of the on-site food options. There is a poolside bar and the beach club does offer food—the menu looked fine—but with so many excellent local restaurants nearby, we never felt tempted to eat on property. The poolside bar was pretty standard for a Hilton resort, with a nice midday happy hour that was a welcome touch. Some reviews have mentioned the unusual hours for the grab-and-go market, but in our experience, those hours are fairly typical for Hawaii. It wasn’t an issue for us. Located in Kihei, this resort is in a perfect spot to explore the island. It’s close to everything while still offering a relaxing, uncrowded atmosphere. If you’re looking for a modern, peaceful base in Maui, Hilton Maui Bay Villas is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back!
